Description

Fill in jobs are short term jobs, also known as: temporary, substitute, contract, floating, per diem, or locum tenens, among other names. When you need a professional to work for a defined period of time (it may be for a day, a couple weeks, a few months, etc.), this is what we call a "fill in" job. Here are some situations where you may need to hire someone on a short term basis: You might need someone for a project that will only take a specific amount of time.

Maybe one of your employees is going on vacation or taking leave and you need a professional to do their job while they are away. It could be your business requires more staff during busy periods, and you need to hire temporary pros to help out. Perhaps your company is expanding and you need to hire more professionals, but you want to "test them out" before committing to a long term hire.

You can also post full time and part time jobs (on-going jobs with no end date) on Fill in Pro, since many pros that are available for fill in jobs are also willing to take a long term position if they feel it is a good fit.
